Updates from China



We got an update on Mikenna on Tuesday, January 27th.(The day after her 2nd birthday.) She is now 2 ft 9 in. tall and 25 lbs. We also were told that she has 12 teeth. I will post a picture of her as soon as Paul can help me out. She has lost the baby look and looks like a toddler. Receiving the new pictures really pulls at my heart to hold her and get her to smile. Not one of her pictures does she smile. Hopefully that will change. The six of us celebrated Mikenna's birthday at Szechwan, a Chinese resturant. It was also Chinese New Year. We look forward to celebrating Mikenna's birthday next year with her.

    Lori--thanks for letting me in on your very exciting journey--I get tears in my eyes reading about your beautiful daughter and can fully relate to you just wanting to hold her. Will keep you all in our prayers and hope you will have Mikenna in your arms very soon! Linnea
